  1996年7月于中國科學院系統(tǒng)科學研究所博士畢業(yè),1998年清華大學電機系博士后出站,后留校任教。1999年被聘為清華大學副教授,2003年被聘為清華大學電機系教授,2005年獲國家杰出青年科學基金,2009年獲聘長江學者,2011年當選IET Fellow,2013年被評為基金委創(chuàng)新群體學術(shù)帶頭人,2014年當選IEEE Fellow。2001-2002年期間作為訪問教授先后赴國立新加坡大學、日本上智大學、日立公司、英國Brunel大學開展訪問與合作研究。目前主要從事電力系統(tǒng)魯棒控制、復雜電力網(wǎng)絡(luò)理論、電力系統(tǒng)災(zāi)變防治和新能源電力系統(tǒng)等研究。建立了電力系統(tǒng)非線性魯棒控制理論和自組織臨界理論,提出了電力系統(tǒng)暫態(tài)分析半張量積方法和基于博弈論的新能源電力系統(tǒng)調(diào)度控制方法,解決了電力系統(tǒng)非線性魯棒控制器構(gòu)造和連鎖故障機理辨識兩大科學問題。研發(fā)了發(fā)電機組非線性魯棒勵磁控制器、非線性有源濾波器和無燃燒壓縮空氣儲能系統(tǒng),突破了發(fā)電機組抗干擾勵磁控制、配電網(wǎng)電能質(zhì)量治理和高效物理儲能三大技術(shù)瓶頸,成果應(yīng)用于我國多個電力系統(tǒng)和國防工程。
