  1992 年考取華中農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)碩士研究生,師從于傅廷棟院士,在學(xué)習(xí)期間提前攻讀博士學(xué)位。1997 年6 月通過博士答辯,獲博士學(xué)位。畢業(yè)后留校任教,主要講授《生物統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)》和《作物育種學(xué)》,并繼續(xù)從事甘藍(lán)型油菜分子生物學(xué)和雜種優(yōu)勢利用的研究。1999年—2000年在加拿大Manitoba 大學(xué)分子遺傳實(shí)驗(yàn)室從事油菜抗病基因表達(dá)等方面的分子生物學(xué)研究,同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)生物信息學(xué)研究方法。2000年—2001年在DNALandMarks 公司(BASF, Plant Science)從事SNP分析工作。2004 年在瑞典SVALOF WEIBULL AB 實(shí)驗(yàn)室完成了隱性細(xì)胞核雄性不育抑制基因的定位,同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)轉(zhuǎn)基因植物安全檢測方法。2006 年在加拿大MANITOBA 大學(xué)植物科學(xué)系合作進(jìn)行白菜雄性不育基因克隆及BAC文庫構(gòu)建等研究。
